Sir William James Cooper Thomas, 2nd Baronet

Sir William James Cooper Thomas, TD, 2nd Baronet; b. 7 May, 1919; succeeded his father, Sir Wm James, in 1945; educated at Harrow and Downing College, Cambridge; Called to the Bar at the Inner Temple, 1948; JP and DL for Gwent; High Sheriff of Monmouth 1973-74; served in WW2 with Royal Artillery; married 1947, Freida Dunbar Whyte, (she d. 1990), daughter of F.A. Whyte, of Montcoffer, Banff, by whom he had issue; died in October, 2005.
