_.Sir Richard David Christopher Brooke, 11th Baronet (Baronetcy E, cr 1662, of Norton Priory, co Chester), died 24 October, 2012. He was 74.

He was born 23 Oct, 1938, son of Sir Richard Neville Brooke, 10th Baronet (1915-1997), by his wife the former Lady Mabel Kathleen Jocelyn (d 27 Jun 1985), daughter of the 8th Earl of Roden, and succeded to the baronetcy on his father's death, 1997; married 1stly, 1963 (div 1976), Carola Marion Erskine Hill, and 2ndly, in 1979, Lucinda (nee Voelcker), and is succeeded in the baronetcy by the elder son (of the 1st marriage), Richard Christopher, who was b 10 July, 1966.

Lady Hanbury Tenison (1931-2012)

_. Lady Hanbury Tenison, of Clytha Park, Gwent, who died 22 Oct, 2012, aged 81, was the wife of a former Lord Lieutenant for the couty of Gwent, and was a scion of the Lords Saltoun (Peerage of Scotland, cr 1445).

Lady Hanbury Tenison was the wife of Sir Richard Hanbury Tenison, KCVO (b 3 January, 1925), of Clytha Park, Gwent, Lord Lieutenant of Gwent, 1979-2001.

She was born Euphan Mary Wardlaw Ramsay in 1931, daughter of Maj Arthur Balcarres Wardlaw Ramsay (d 1956), descended from the Barons Magheramorne, by his wife the former Hon Mary Alexandra Fraser (1892-1969), daughter of the 18th Lord Saltoun, &c. She married Richard Hanbury Tenison in 1955, and leaves issue.

_.The marriage took place in Breconshire, 13 Oct, 2012, between the Hon Charles Robert Kerr (b 19 Sept, 1971), only son and heir of the 2nd Baron Teviot (b 16 Dec 1934), by his wife the former Patricia Mary Harris, and Fiona C. Parry-Jones, daughter of Mr David Parry-Jones and the late Sheila Parry-Jones.

It is Mr Kerr's second marriage. He married firstly in 2000, Yamalette Molina Guillen, by whom he has a daughter, Arianna Sophia Kerr (b 2003).

_.(Gillian) Heather Lady Malcolm, who died 15 Oct, 2012, was the widow, by only a few weeks, of Colonel Sir James William Thomas Alexander Malcolm, 12th Baronet (Baronetcy, Nova Scotia, cr 1665).

Her husband died 4 September, 2012. He was 82.

The former Gillian Heather Humpherus, she wed Sir James in 1955. Her son, Maj. Alexander James Elton Malcolm, Welsh Guards (b 30 Aug 1956), succeeded as thirteenth baronet.

She was the former Dora Rosemary Knollys, and was born in London in 1928, daughter Harold Lucian Knollys, of Abbeylands, Weybridge, Surrey, and married Lt-Col. Scott-Moncrieff, 22 March, 1950. She had issue, two daughters, Jean Claire (b 1952), and Lucy Ann (b 1954).

George Francis Lane Fox (1931-2012)

_. Maj. George Francis Lane Fox, head of the landed family, of Bramham Park, Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, died at his home, 9 October, 2012. He was 81.

He was born 15 May, 1931, eldest son of Lt-Col Francis Gordon Ward-Jackson (1899-1989), by his wife, the Hon Marcia Agnes Mary Lane Fox (1904-80), eldest of the four daughters of the 1st (and last) Baron Bingley, who had no sons. In 1937, Lt-Col Ward Jackson assumed the surname of Lane Fox in lieu of Jackson.

George Lane Fox was educated at Eton & RMC; career:- landowner, served as Major in the Royal Horse Guards, &c.

He married 10 Aug 1962, (Helen) Victoria, only daughter of Maj Charles Edward Rodney Duff, 8th Royal Irish Hussars, by whom he had issue, three sons, George, James and Edward. Mrs Lane Fox died 30 Nov, 1997.

He succeeded as head of the Lane Fox family by his eldest son, Capt George Charles Nicholas Lane Fox, who was born 25 Dec, 1963.

Dowager Countess of Denbigh dies aged 75

_.The Dowager Countess of Denbigh died 30 September, 2012. The widow of the 11th earl was aged 75.

She was born Caroline Judith Vivienne (Judy) Cooke, daughter of Lt-Col. Geoffrey Cooke, of Little Orchard, Sunningdale, co Berkshire, and married 2 Sept, 1965, William Rudolph Michael Feilding, 11th Earl of Denbigh (1943-95) (Peerage of England, cr 1622), and 10th Earl of Desmond (Peerage of Ireland, also cr 1622), who died 23 Mar, 1995.

Lady Denbigh leaves one son, Alexander, 12th Earl of Denbigh, and 2 daughters, Lady Samantha Hurley and Lady Louisa Barton.

The Lady Kinloss (1922-2012)

_.The Lady Kinloss, 12th in line (Peerage of Scotland, cr 1601/2), died in hospital, 30 September, 2012, aged 90. Lady Kinloss, Beatrice Mary Freeman-Grenville, lived at Sheriff Hutton, near York.

She was born 18 Aug 1922, daughter of Rev. Hon Luis Grenville, Master of Kinloss (1889-Aug 1944), by his wife the former Katherine Jackman; succeeded to the peerage, 17 Oct, 1944, on the demise of her grandmother, Mary Temple Nugent-Brydges-Grenville, later Morgan, later Morgan-Grenville, suo jure Lady Kinloss.

She married in 1950, Greville Stewart Parker Freeman, later Freeman-Grenville (d 2005), by whom she had issue, one son Bevil, styled Master of Kinloss (1953-2012), and 2 daughters, Teresa and Hester.

The peerage now devolves upon her Ladyship's elder daughter, Teresa Mary Nugent Grenville Freeman-Grenville, Mistress of Kinloss, who was b. 20 July, 1957. She is unm.

__.Lucy Rose Duckworth-Chad (b 1979, nee Greenwell), wife of William George Christopher Duckworth-Chad (b 1975), a second cousin of the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, gave birth to a son, Kit Edward, 29 September, 2012.

William Duckworth-Chad is the son of Anthony Duckworth-Chad (b 1942), of Pynkney, Norfolk, by his wife, the former Elizabeth Sarah Wake-Walker (b 1944), scion of the Walker Baronets (cr UK 1856), & Lucy is a daughter of Sir Edward Greenwell, 4th Baronet (b 1948) and the late Lady Greenwell, of Gedgrave, Suffolk.
